AFSA Chapter 951 was chartered on September 1st, 1977, serving the enlisted of Ellsworth AFB, the Black Hills and the entire state of South Dakota.

We hold the distinction of being the first AFSA chapter to be recognized by a base as a National Military Association and of having the Secretary of the Air Force, Dr. Heather Wilson as a Member for Life in our Chapter.

Our goal is to be the focal organization for activities involving veterans in the local area and on base.  We currently work with all base privite organizations in helping them be a part of these activities and benefit as well.
